1. New patient reception

New patient receptionIf you are a new patient and have no referral letter, please fill in the required information on the Patient Registration Form and bring it to the New Patient Reception Desk.
Once you are registered, we give you a Reception Slip and a Patient ID Card.

2. Reception at each department (2nd floor)

The receptionist gives you a medical questionnaire. Please fill it in and submit it to the Reception Desk.

3. Waiting

WaitingPlease wait until your consultation.
The external waiting area has a screen to show the waiting time. It displays the appointment time of the patients who are currently being examined. Once your appointment time is displayed, you will be called in soon.

4. Consultation and tests

A physician examines you. You may need to have tests before or after the consultation.

6. Billing Desk

7. Payment

PaymentOnce the billing number screen displays your number, please make a payment with an automated cashier machine.
Please follow the instructions below to use the machine.

  1. Hold the barcode on your Billing Number Ticket over the barcode reader.
    If you have no Billing Number Ticket, insert your Patient ID Card.
  2. Please make a payment in accordance with the instructions on the screen.
    * If your physician prescribes medications for you, a “Medication Exchange Ticket” is printed on the bottom of your receipt. Please cut it off and bring it to the Pharmacy once your ticket number is displayed.
    * If your medications are prescribed outside the hospital, please bring the prescription to any outside pharmacy after you make the payment.
    * We do not reissue the receipt. Please keep it safe.

We accept a credit card for medical expense payment.

Please confirm the spending limit of your card before use. (Please contact your credit card company for details about your spending limit.)
* J-Debit is available only during business hours.

8. Pharmacy

院内処方PharmacyIn principle, prescriptions are dispensed outside our hospital.
Please take your prescription to a pharmacy outside the hospital with payment.
Your number will be displayed on a monitor as soon as the medicine for your prescription is ready.
Please present the prescription slip when your number appears on the electronic display.

Take care on your way back.

  • Staff of our “Concierge” are always available to help our patients and other visitors.
    Please feel free to ask them anything.

Requirements on the day of consultation

  • Health insurance card
  • Various beneficiary certificates for publicly funded healthcare (if any)
  • Proof of identity (e.g., ID card or passport)
  • Overseas health insurance card

Presentation of your health insurance card

Please show us your health insurance card once a month (at your first visit of the month). Please note that if you do not show it to us, you are liable for all medical expenses.

Coverage of health insurance

You are not covered by health insurance in the following cases.

  • No presentation of a health insurance card (* A copy of the health insurance card is invalid in principle)
  • Health checkup or comprehensive screening
  • Commuting injury or employment injury
  • Traffic accident (* To use a health insurance card, you need to submit the required documents to your insurance provider in advance)
  • Injury caused by a third party’s action (* To use a health insurance card, you need to submit the required documents to your insurance provider in advance)
  • Normal pregnancy or delivery

 

Out-of-hours or Emergency Outpatients

Reception

  • The Emergency Room Reception Desk is open 24 hours a day. (We do not currently accept emergency child patients.)
    * If you would like to consult a specialized department, such as Ophthalmology or Dermatology, please ask us about availability.

Out-of-hours or Emergency Outpatients

Requirements on the day of consultation

  • Referral letter (If you do not have it, you must pay a fee for treatment of patients’ choice)
  • Health insurance card
  • Various beneficiary certificates for publicly funded healthcare (if any)

Fee for Treatment of Patients’ Choice

If you have no referral letter, you must pay a fee for treatment of patients’ choice, 5,400 yen for a consultation with a medical department or 3,240 yen for a consultation with a dental department.

Please show us your health insurance card at every visit. Please note that if you do not show it to us, you are liable for all medical expenses.

Fee for Treatment of Patients’ Choice

Under the instructions of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, advanced treatment hospitals and regional medical care support hospitals with 200 or more beds in general wards charge a predetermined amount of the fee for treatment of patients’ choice. However, you do not need to pay if any of the following conditions applies to you.

  1. You have a referral letter.
  2. You have an appointment.
